Our pharmacy offers the sale and rental of Medela Breastpumps to help infants and mothers receive the benefits of breastfeeding. With over 15 years experience in the sale and rental of breastpumps, our pharmacists are knowledgeable in the operation of the pumps and can answer many of your questions.

Medela Breastpumps are available in hospital-grade electric, handheld battery/electric, and manual models, with pumps designed to meet a variety of needs. Whether you need a pump for a short-term separation – such as an evening out, a missed feeding or working part-time – or you need a pump for a long-term separation – such as a hospitalized baby or working full-time – Medela has the right pump for the job.

Rent a Pump

Mothers can obtain the highest quality breastpumps at minimal cost through our affordable home rental program. Renting a pump is easy and cost-efficient for mothers who are pumping because of breastfeeding problems, or for first-time moms unsure of pumping goals.

Mothers on-the-go will appreciate the convenience of the Lactina Rental Pump. The number one breastpump used in hospitals, the Lactina is ideal for long-term or frequent pumping needs. Since it is rented, moms enjoy the flexibility of keeping the pump for as long as it’s needed, without an expensive purchase.

To secure a rental pump, a one-month refundable deposit and a major credit card is required. The pharmacy will bill the credit card on file on a quarterly basis. In addition, the rental pump requires tubing and bottles that must be purchased separately. Often times the same tubing used in the hospital is compatible with our rental model.

If you plan on using a breastpump for more than 6 months, or plan on using a breastpump for future children, we recommend purchasing a pump. Medela Lactina^® Rental Breastpump

Lactina Breastpumps are ideal for long-term and frequent pumping, making them a favorite of working mothers. Versatile and compact, the Lactina is lightweight and highly portable.

The Lactina’s physiological Autocycle™ pumping action is almost identical to baby’s natural sucking action. And like all Medela pumps, the Lactina’s built-in vacuum release protects you against excessive or prolonged suction.

The Lactina is designed to provide breastfeeding mothers with the ultimate in safety, efficiency, cleanliness and ease of use. It can be used with ordinary household or workplace electricity, and when electricity is not available, the Lactina Kit converts quickly to manual operation.

For the mom-on-the-go, the PowerPak™ makes the Lactina usable when electric outlets are not available. This option includes a rechargeable battery and an adapter for use in a vehicle.

Medela MiniElectric^TM Breastpump

The Medela MiniElectric Breastpump is perfect for short-term separations of mother and baby. It is lightweight and completely portable, so traveling is convenient.

Like Medela’s electric breastpumps, the MiniElectric mimics the natural suck-release-relax cycling of a nursing baby. An adjustable vacuum allows you to select your own comfort level. For added versatility, universal threads on the breastshield allow the pump to be attached to any standard baby bottle.

The pump comes with a companion transformer that allows you to plug it into any electric outlet. Or power the pump with two AA batteries (not included). If electricity is not available or if batteries are low, the Mini Electric comes with a manual pump adapter.

The MiniElectric is dishwasher safe (excluding motor and transformer).
