1. Where is Albers Medical Pharmacy located?

Albers Medical Pharmacy is located on the first floor of the Broadway Medical Building one block west of Saint Luke's Hospital near the Country Club Plaza. Our address is 4400 Broadway Suite 106.


2. What are the pharmacy’s hours of operation?

Albers is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. We are also conveniently open on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.


3. What is the pharmacy’s policy on delivery / mail service?

Albers Medical Pharmacy offers a limited delivery area that provides convenience to many patients living and working near the Country Club Plaza Area. We deliver on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays within our pre-set boundaries (West of Main Street, east of Mission Road, north of 75th Street, and south of Westport Road). Albers Medical Pharmacy can also mail prescription products to patients for a minimal charge.

Albers Medical Pharmacy located in Grandview, Missouri, also offers delivery service within the Grandview zip code of 64030 or an approximate 7 mile radius surrounding the store.

If you live or work outside our normal Delivery Area please contact the pharmacy to see if we can accommodate your needs.


4. Can the pharmacy special order medications and / or OTC products?

Albers Medical Pharmacy can order most prescription and over the counter products from our wholesale sources. Many products could be available to you within 24 hours. Please call us for details on products and estimated availability.


5. How can I find out more about the travel vaccination program?

Please call the pharmacy and speak with one of our pharmacists to set up a consultation 6–8 weeks prior to your expected date of travel.


6. When does the pharmacy administer flu shots? Are appointments necessary

Influenza vaccinations are administered in the pharmacy approximately starting the end of September. You may receive your flu shot during business hours with no appointment required.


7. Does the pharmacy compound custom medications?

There are many medications that can be custom made at our pharmacy per doctor’s orders. Our primary specialty is in dermatological compounds. Please call us with your specific needs to assist you further. Neither location compounds sterile products (injectable compounds, ophthalmic preparations, etc.).


8. Does Albers Medical Pharmacy participate in the Medicare Part D program?

Our pharmacy does participate in a majority of plans sponsored by Medicare. Our pharmacists will be able to answer any question you may have, as well as assist you attaining Part D coverage.


9. Are Albers Pharmacists available for consultation of prescription medication?
